Project

Edu! – Human Rights Education Campaign for the Western Balkans

The “Edu!” campaign supports human rights education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. Our team developed the complete visual identity, website, and a wide range of multilingual print materials - including brochures, notebooks, posters, and campaign merchandise. The identity highlights the project’s dual focus on education and human rights, with the colorful “Edu!” logotype symbolizing diversity and the broad spectrum of topics addressed throughout the initiative.

As of 2000, the regional program “Human rights education for active citizenship in the Western Balkans” was being developed in Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, promoting human rights education. They have developed educational personnel and provided education in human rights, intercultural understanding and conflict resolution primarily for youth. Youth and people dealing with youth in Western Balkan countries have a lack of basic knowledge about the human rights and very often have prejudices and discriminatory attitudes, even after they have been attending the civic education programs at their schools.

We were commissioned to create visual identity of the campaign/project, website, design and production of various print material such as: three different types of brochures in five languages, bags, folders, rollups, notebooks, bookmarkers, posters, badges, sticks etc. During the process of identity creation and design, we tried to maintain the focus of the project on both its main components: Education and Human Rights. “Edu!” logotype represents education (especially for young people) and different colors used in the logo are stressing the diversity and variation of topics that are being discussed within the project.

Campaign was implemented in SEE countries (Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia).
