de:work is delighted to announce that its' two projects have been included in the 9th issue of the Hong Kong based branD magazine, published by Sendpoints Publishing Co. Main themes of the issue are CHARITY POWER, and we have been invited to give interviews and participate with projects KOCD and AGRIVOC. It was a pleasure to receive a special coverage for the NGO projects and we would like to thank our colleagues, and we hope that we will have more opportunities to create something incredible in the future. Thanks!
More often than not, we have seen restaurants and cafes springing out at every turn of our neighbourhood. From the usual big fast food chains to the occasional independent bistros and cafes, these are a result of our ever changing appetite and quest for good food and excellent service. With more restaurants and cafes opening over time, businesses and new startups are now facing tremendous competition and the inevitable task of striving to remain at the forefront of the dining experience.
The dream dining experience would consist of good food and an atmosphere to savour every moment of the meal.
But what happens when the new kid next door welcomes customers with better chefs that could cook up a variety of exotic cuisines. That is when when businesses would need to work beyond satisfying the customers taste buds and turn to today’s designers with some fresh thinking, a new coat of paint and a desire to take a bit of risk.
Designlicious takes a closer look at a new era where gastronomy and design, work in tandem to achieve the ultimate dining experience.
De:work was invited by Basheer Graphic Books and Working Title & Co. (www.basheergraphic.com) to participate in this book with its Čiča project.

It’s titled “Art until the end” and it will take place in Pavilion Veljkovic at the Centre for cultural Decontamination, in Belgrade. This event will feature between 120 and 150 young artists and designers from all over the world. After the Belgrade exhibition The Summit of Cheap Laser Graphics starts its regional tour!

AIMS: UNTIL THE END! (or at least as far as possible)

The aim of this event is to gather creative people from the area of design, visual communications, architecture and other ancient skills as well as to ruthlessly promote their work outside of their usual guilds’s borders. The concept of the exhibition is the reproduction of works on standard office paper, size A4 by printing with the laser printer in black and white technique. All the works, independently of the author, are on sale at the same price – the whole 100 dinars (approximately 1 euro)

Every work of art at the exhibition is accompanied by a questionnaire filled out by the artists themselves. Those questionnaires will reveal everything about the shocking and less shocking destinies of graphic designers and their likes, trivia, dirty linen, ideological standpoints, frustrations, attitudes towards the material and the transcendental!
